ReGenesis Mod & RDA FAQ

  • How do I take it apart? – Take the battery door off, take out the 4 screws in the black plastic sled where the battery sits. This should then slide out. Remove the 4 screws from the fire bar and it should all come apart.
  • How low can I build with this kit? – That will completely depend on the batteries you are using, this will be calculated using ohm’s law which you should have prior knowledge of before using this device. We do not recommend under any circumstances that you use builds lower what is calculated using ohm’s law.
  • My mod is getting hot, should this happen? – Warmth is normal with a mechanical mod when using it continuously, if it is hot after a couple of puffs then this can indicate a potential issue. Please note if using low ohm builds then you maybe causing undo stress to the battery this can be potentially dangerous, please check there is no metal or loose coil legs in the rda and refer back to ohms law.

Another indicator could be heat is transferring from the RDA to the mod. This is normal with frequent use.

Take it all apart, check the connection at the base of the battery for marks. check the condition of the battery, no tears and battery wraps are in good order. Check the fire bars for arcing marks. clean if marks are present.

  • My RDA is showing "no atomiser" when put on a regulated device, what's wrong? - Check your 510 pin is screwed properly into the bottom of the RDA, an improper connection will result in the "no atomiser" message on regulated devices.

  • What countries can you ship to? We ship worldwide using DHL. Local laws and legislations must be adhered to by the individual before ordering.
  • I’m not getting much flavour from the RDA – coil positioning is key, check out our coil guide to see what positions we find are best – coil guide link –
  • Can the RDA be used with a single coil – No, the rda is designed for dual coil. There is no way to block the airflow from one side which as a result will cause turbulance.
  • Can I use a subohm tank on this mod? – NO, subohm tanks have floating 510 pins and should never be used on a mechanical mod. this can be extremely dangerous.
  • My fire bar isn’t pressing? – Take the mod apart following the disassemble video, once apart check that the springs are not damaged or bent out of shape in anyway. Also make sure springs are fit into the designated holes.
  • How often should I clean the mod? – This is down to personal preference, the cleaner the firebar and connection contacts, the harder the mod will hit. We recommend it is cleaned regularly using appropriate products such as Cape Cod, Brasso and microfiber cloths.

If the mod feels like it has had a drop in performance then this is an indicator that it may be due a clean.

 

  • I’m looking for a beginner kit, is this suitable – NO, absolutely not! This is an advanced kit designed for experienced vapers who have a strong understanding of ohm’s law, battery safety and experience installing coils.
  • Does the item come with a warranty? – We offer a lifetime warranty on our mechanical mods. This does not cover accidental damage or any modifications caused by the user. Wear and tear is also not covered. check out our terms and conditions for more details.
  • I’ve lost/damaged my box can I get a replacement? – No, boxes were made for the exact number of devices made
  • I’ve lost my COA card, can I get a replacement? – If the product has been registered

  • What size are the screws used? 
  • I’ve snapped the RDA posts, can I get replacements? – YES! we proudly offer a comprehensive range of spares for both your ReGenesis Mod and ReGenesis RDA.
  • What way should I put my battery in? – We recommend positive end up. If a battery should vent then this will force the connection apart. The top of the mod has an insulator which breaks the connection if the RDA pin is removed from the top of the battery.
  • Why is shipping so expensive – shipping is determined by DHL, this is the cost to us and is calculated at checkout. Check out our Delivery Information here.
  • How do I get my tracking number? – Trackers are sent out via DHL, please ensure you have provided a valid email and check your spam folders.
